How we review listings
On AutoSajam no listing goes live automatically. A person reviews every single one before it is published.
The path of a listing
-
Submission
The seller enters the vehicle details, price, description and at least one photo. The listing is marked “Awaiting approval” and is not public yet.
-
Review
A moderator reviews the listing – photos, details, price, description and basic information about the seller (details below).
-
Decision
Approved: the listing becomes visible to everyone. Returned for changes: the seller gets a note on what to fix and resubmits. Rejected: for fraud, spam or prohibited content – a rejection is final.
-
After going live
When a seller edits the vehicle details or the description, the approved version stays online and the edit waits for a new review. The same applies to a sharp price drop (more than 30%). Users can report any listing, and we check every report.
What we check
Photos
Whether they show this exact vehicle, whether they were copied from other marketplaces, and whether they contain inappropriate content, ads or contact details.
Vehicle details
Whether make, model, year, mileage and fuel type are consistent with each other and with the photos.
Price
Whether the price is realistic. A price far below average is a common sign of fraud – we look at such listings especially carefully.
Description
No requests for deposits or advance payments, no links to other websites, no insults and nothing unrelated to the vehicle.
Seller
Warning signs such as a brand-new account, previously rejected listings or reports from other users. For dealers we also check the company details.
A person decides
Automatic signals (e.g. an unusually low price) only help the moderator. A person makes the decision on every listing.
What the review does not cover
We review the listing, not the vehicle. We have not seen the vehicle and do not inspect it. An approved listing is no guarantee about the vehicle or the seller.
Our review does not cover:
- the technical condition of the vehicle or its real mileage,
- ownership, documents, customs clearance or registration,
- the vehicle's history (accidents, servicing, liens, or whether it has been reported stolen),
- the sale itself – the contract is concluded solely between buyer and seller.
So before you buy: see the vehicle in person and in daylight, compare the VIN with the registration document, bring a mechanic or have the vehicle inspected, and never pay anything in advance. All tips for buying safely
Help us
If something in a listing or a message looks suspicious, report it directly in the app: on a listing choose ⋯Report listing, in a chat ⋯Report or Block. A person reviews every report.
