We reply on working days, usually within 1–2 working days. Please include the e-mail address of your account and, if your question is about a listing, its link or title. A screenshot often speeds things up.

We will never ask you for your password, card details or a payment by e-mail, message or phone.

Frequently asked questions

How long does the review take?

A person reviews every listing, so the review is not instant. We aim to review listings as quickly as possible – usually on the same day. In the evening, at night and at weekends it may take longer.

You can see the status in the app under ProfileMy listings. When your listing is approved you also get a notification, if notifications are turned on.

Why was my listing returned for changes?

“Returned for changes” means the listing was not rejected – something just needs fixing. You can see the moderator's note next to the listing in My listings. The most common reasons:

  • the photos are unclear, too small or do not show this exact vehicle,
  • the details (year, mileage, fuel) do not match the photos or the description,
  • the price was obviously entered incorrectly (e.g. €1 or €1,000,000),
  • the description or a photo contains links, ads or contact details,
  • the same vehicle is already listed in another listing.

Fix the listing via Edit and resubmit – it goes back into review.

Why was my listing rejected?

We reject listings for fraud, spam or prohibited content (see the Terms of Use). A rejection is final. If you think we made a mistake, write to us at podrska@autosajam.me.

Can I edit a published listing?

Yes. When you edit the vehicle details or the description, your approved listing stays online and the edit waits for review. The same applies if you lower the price by more than 30%. Mark a vehicle as sold via My listingsMark as sold.

How do I report fraud or a suspicious listing?
  • Listing: open the listing, choose ⋯Report listing and a reason (e.g. a request for advance payment or stolen photos).
  • User in chat: in the conversation choose ⋯Report. This also lets you block the user – they can no longer message you.
  • Outside the app (e.g. a message on Viber or WhatsApp): send us a screenshot and the listing link at podrska@autosajam.me.

If you have already paid money or shared card details, contact your bank and the police immediately. We will preserve the account data and cooperate with the authorities.

How do I block a user?

In the conversation choose ⋯Block. A blocked user can no longer send you messages.

Is AutoSajam free?

Yes, searching and posting listings are currently free. Should paid features be introduced in the future, they will be regulated separately and announced before they are introduced.

How do I delete my account?

In the app: ProfileDelete account. Details and deleting without the app: Delete your account.

Buying safely

  • Do not pay a deposit or advance to strangers before you have seen the vehicle and its documents. Scammers often ask for “a small deposit (kapara) to hold the car”.
  • Do not open links or use “courier services” suggested by the seller. Fake payment or delivery pages steal card details. AutoSajam does not offer delivery or payment handling.
  • See the vehicle in person, in daylight and ideally with a mechanic.
  • Check the documents: compare the VIN on the vehicle with the registration document and make sure the seller is the owner.
  • Stay in the in-app chat until you have met the seller – there you can report and block.
  • A price that is too good to be true is the most common sign of fraud.

Selling safely

  • Do not open links to “receive money”. Fake buyers send links from a supposed courier service or bank and ask for card details. You never need to enter a card number or code to receive money.
  • Do not send copies of your ID or registration document to strangers.
  • Money before handover – ideally by bank transfer at the bank or in front of a witness, with a written contract.
  • Test drives only with you present and after you have seen the driver's licence.
